Food fanatics rejoice, last year’s gastronomic smash hit, The Feast Collective, is back at Camp Bestival once again, with myriad morsels of utterly piquant pleasure from some of the country’s finest eateries, helping us to create what we think is the ultimate taste-fest. Food has always been a leading light in the Camp Bestival line-up and with this year’s selection of artisan food producers, speciality chefs and street food gurus, plus a pop-up supper club and glorious food demonstrations, it will be an unmissable attraction for all your indulgent culinary needs.
Be prepared to get involved in taste experiences with Biblos, where the Middle East meets the Caribbean, multi-award-winning family concern The Cake Shop Bakery, artisan beverage makersCaravan Coffee, and winners of Best Sandwich at the British Street Food Awards 2014, The Cauldron. We’ll also have East Asian meets British cuisine from West Dorset’s Dorshi, sushi rolled fresh to order from Happy Maki, wine tasting with the wildly popular Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, and authentic Korean BBQ in Burritos, rice bowls and salad boxes from Korrito.
The temptations keep on coming with Alpine street food, inspired by a childhood near Mont Blanc from Le Rac Shack, we’ll also have food for thought with Melrose and Morgan who will be bringing their food quiz to the fields, bohemian, seasonally distinctive dishes from Cardiff’s Milgi, and beautiful, fruity, delicious and nutritionally balanced juices from S’Juice Me. And there will be innovative world food dishes using locally sourced fish and seafood from Seadog, seafood evangelism from Shrimpy, divinely delicious meat specialists the Thoroughly Wild Meat Company, and widely acclaimed modern interpretations of classic Ghanaian flavours from Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen.
Plus we’ll have superlative supper club gratification hosted by Cuisine+Colour and cooking demonstrations from ambassadors Martin MoralesSteven Lamb, Jo Ingleby and also from the Food & Farming Awards Best Street Food offering Hangfire Smokehouse and foraging wonder Nick Weston of Hunter Gather Cook.
