LIFESTYLE: Eating My Way Through May / June

Half way through the year already and I have already seen Christmas decorations out in some stores! Yes going all festive already... Last 2 months I have been eating like crazy so I thought to put a collage of everything together to share with you all.

Top 2 photos is *Slug & Lettuce Celebrating their 30 years with their special Martini Cocktail. Then it was over at Pizza Express after work with the girls for their 2 course deal for under £12. Great value for days when you want something cheap and you know it's going to be good.
At the weekend during the heat wave it was too hot to be sitting indoors so we headed to La Regata for some light tapas and sat outdoors with our dog. We ordered a mixture of paella, bread with dips, garlic king prawns and spicy wings. Bottom pic was my macaroni cheese with bacon at The Tenth Hole with the girls again. I think this is one of our favourite meet up places for CAKE!
I had a few foodie days in London in between which includes the last meals at the famous Koya in Soho London and classic dim sum in China town for lunch. Then more recently the sausage and mash that I've been raving on about from The Dancing Man Brewery.
For my Birthday I spent the day in London with hubby...foodie days in London are my favourite. I had cravings for Ramen so we headed to Bone Daddies in Soho. Highly recommended for ramen and to avoid waiting in the queues best to go early as its always busy what ever the day. I ordered a selection of pickes to go with my meal...not everyone's taste but I fancied something a little different. Since it was a weekday The Wright Brothers so happy hour oysters for £1 so we stopped off for a few!
To finish off some lazy comfort food at home in between.... been eating a lot of low fat natural yogurt with some fresh fruit thrown in depending what I have in the fridge. *Chicago town pizza on lazy weekdays with a side salad - quick easy and delicious. Omelet again with what ever I have in the fridge served with side salad for those days where I am just cooking for myself. Really enjoying cereal for breakfast with a chopped banana throw in to make it extra filling.

That's it for the foodie round up - if you have any foodie posts please do share your link in the comments below!

    1. Their deals are pretty good for the 2 courses and if you are a student they offer 40% off for Mon/Tue.
