THE BODY SHOP: Spa Of The World Launch

Everyone has memories of The Body Shop when growing up, it was the place to when buying presents for the girls for Birthdays / Christmas as everything smells so good in there. However over the years with more shops opening for me it seems to have ended up being a bit of a forgotten place to go to. I was recently invited to their lunch "SPA Of The World" at my local Southampton West Quay I was curious to see what they have launching. On arrival we were greated with a selection of drinks and strawberrys - always a nice touch!

Let me introduce you to this range: "WE KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF ‘ME’ TIME, SO WE’VE CREATED A LUXURIOUS SPA OF THE WORLD™ RANGE INCLUDING BATH MILK, CREAMS, MASSAGE OILS AND EXFOLIANTS. WITH A RELAXING, REVITALISING AND A BLISSFUL RITUAL TO CHOOSE FROM, YOU CAN BRING THAT #SPATHROOM EXPERIENCE DIRECTLY INTO YOUR HOME!"
The range does have a SPA feel to it and looks rather sophisticated when compared to their usual bright / clear bottle packaging. The range is very fitting with peoples lifestyles / changes in that everyone likes a good pamper these days and it's not always affordable. To be able to enjoy some of these luxuries in your own home and have a pamper evening fits in very well with the lives of most. We were all treated to facial / hand massage / getting our nails painted. I opted for hand massage / exfoliate along with oils on the cuticles before getting my nails painted.
I do have favourites from the range however it is not cheap but as it's a SPA range it's suppose to be treat! My picks are Himalayan Charcoal Body Clay, Body Mask Brush (which is sold out online already) and the Leomongrass Massage Oil which reminds me of SPA days on holiday. If you are to invest in just the one product I would pick the body clay, it was applied to my hand with the mask brush and washed off after a few minutes and you can see the difference instantly in how much it brightens up your skin however 200ml will be used up fairly quickly since its for the whole body.

We finished off the evening with a group picture of course - Body Shop thanks for having us! If you are interested in any of the products from the range I would highly recommend you popping into your local shop and ask for a hand massage treatment so you can see them work the products before purchasing.

  1. This looks incredible. I have had a hand massage before, at first it was slightly uncomfortable but it felt amazing once I relaxed.
