FOODIE - KUNGFU Buffet

It's been a while since I last visited a buffet restaurant so I was keen to try out *KungFu Buffet in Eastleigh which offers a selection of chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian and Malaysian dishes. We went along after work on Monday night and it was a quite night being a Monday so we had the waiters full attention. The buffet offers over 100 variety of items for you to try out with a good selection of starters, mains, desert along with sushi, dim sum (chinese seafood or meat dumplings) and a teppanyaki cooking station. The restaurant is bright, spacious, modern decor and most importantly clean looking with all those dishes on offer.
I didn't quite fancy doing the whole starter, mains and desert and literally just picked what ever I fancied. I mean thats what buffets are all about you just mix and match on your plate, there is no right or wrong way of eating.
For what they offers it's incredible value for money and it's almost half the price for a lunch seating. You do need to pay before you start eating which is fair enough since there is so much open space you don't really want people eating then leaving without paying. I know some people won't like it but it's very common for buffet restaurants to do this and wouldn't have any problems with this set up.
This place is fab for birthdays or families with children because I think it works out cheaper than eating in a restaurant when you get all the courses for the price of one and the children love it. I will be going back with friends who have a few kids because this is the perfect meeting point! i really enjoyed the sushi and dim sum selection along with the aromatic crispy duck. The desert was lacking for me but that maybe due to it being a Monday night less busy so they perhaps didn't want to put out too much to avoid food wastage which is understandable. So if you plan to visit definitely work going later in the week Thur/Fri/Sat or even Sunday lunch.
