For my birthday this year I received some gift vouchers and it was a perfect time to spend them when everything is on sale! Instead of buying clothes these days I would rather spend them buying home bits and pieces because I am all about decorating my home these days! I mentioned in a previous post I like to buy when things catch my eye rather than buying for the sake of decorating the place out quickly.
So first stop was John Lewis where I picked up this super cute owl ornament. When I saw it I grabbed it straight away since it was in the bargain stand and it was the only one left. Full price was £15 and it was reduced down to £3.50. It's now sitting nicely on my study table for now. I also brought 2 pillows from their cheap range - pillows are pillows so no pic!
Next stop was debenhams home section...I have always found their home items rather expensive but since its the sales there was plenty to choose from. Typical but the item I picked up was from their new range but soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for my home - black, white and gold chevron box at £25...love love love! There are imperfections on the box so it looks kinda old /used but you can only see it close up and I love that about it. Next item is the white Bambi trinket jar / storage which was £10 reduced to £5. I have put this in the bathroom for now to store all my beauty samples.
I couldn't really pop into town and not visit my favourite TKMaxx - no voucher for this place. I wasn't looking for anything specific just casually browsing and came across this scallop shell tray hand made from the Philippines. You can't see it in the photos but the colours of the tray is absolutely beautiful in daylight and I love the side detail pattern on the tray. Again just the one on display so I grabbed it...this would look great on my dinner table - £15.99
That's my mini home haul to share with you all!
