Candles are more of a winter thing in my house hold.
I am such a hermit during the winter months, I like nothing better than to cook some home comfort food and stay in during the cold evenings burning scented candles and catching up on tv!
Currently I only have 2 left over candles from last year and I really could do with buying a few more to take me through the coming winter months.
These days candles are no longer just candles...they are more of a home decor item in my eyes.
A lot of the times I am drawn to the packaging of the candle then decide on the scent.
Once they are all burnt out the glass jars can be used as pencil pots / make up brush pots / jewellery jars etc...
I have picked some of my favourites to share with you all - click on the one you like and it will take you to the retailer.
So which one is your favourite? I think the Cote Noire is my favourite. I love the size and the gold writing on the outside which is a perfect fit for my home.
I cannot wait to do a huge home haul to share with you all.
the black jo malone candle looks uh-mazing! i wonder what the smell is like.

I know...the jar would be great to use after as a pencil / make up brush holder!
DeleteI am a big candle fan. I used always tease my mom and older sister about loving candles and sure enough here I am a big fan. I have been loving candles from this place called pantry candles. I actually mentioned them in my recent blog post. They use this neat jelly wax and smell great. I have to say though for me scent is vastly more important then the candles looks.

Thanks for your lovely comment Steph! I will google pantry candles and see what goodies are available!
DeleteOh my god, I'm a huge fan of candles. When it comes winter and autumn, I'm like yes, I finally can light up some candles. I usually buy candles in IKEA, and recently they have expanded the whole range of they're candles, which I'm super excited about!
ReplyDeleteAnyway the one called Noir has such a cute packaging, I bet it smells amazing too! Also the last one with tbose dots looks so cute. You chose really nice candles, I have to say!!

I also love IKEA candles but I always find when you walk into the candle area the lovely scent hits you but when you light it up at home it really doesn't do much! Will pop over to your blog now Mary x
DeleteThe one from the White Company and Jo Malone look so good! I just don't know if I can handle spending that much on a candle! If it was a gift though... haha!

DeleteI'd love to own the pink one and the Noir one, the border of the pink one is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have different kinds of candles, for example Yankee Candles or Bath and Body Works one, but in Italy you can't find them easily.
