Last weekend consisted of spending a day in London with a few friends!
So the day started off with lunch at Ippudo, we did plan to eat at Kanada-Ya opposite but there must have been at least 20 odd people in the queue waiting outside and it was freezing so we decided to eat at Ippudo.
After ordering our hot green tea to keep us warm I decided to go for the set lunch Shiromaru Hakata Classic for £12.50 which included a bowl of ramen and I chose the eel with rice as a starter. The portions were perfect for lunch and the soup/broth was delicious, thick and creamy exactly how I like it. The slices of pork however were pretty average, I have tasted better at the usual Bone Daddies / Tonkotsu where I usually go but as with all these places it really is down to personal preference.
When we finished eating we looked over at Kanada-Ya and the queue looked just as long!!!
We spent the rest of the afternoon in the freezing cold wondering around Covent Garden, Selfridges and Liberty!
All of your food looks so yummy!
