Princess Cruises hosts onboard book launch "A Proper Family Adventure" by Chrissie Manby and I was lucky enough to be invited along with Alice and Jess. The launch was held on the 3,560-guest Royal Princess in Southampton. The schedule was to embark early in the morning for a guided tour of Royal Princess then a Q&A session with Chrissie followed by lunch.
This a brand new novel that has been launched onboard a Princess Cruises ship. ‘A Proper Family Adventure’ is Chrissie's 29th novel and the third in her ‘A Proper Family’ series. It tells the story of the Benson family who take a Mediterranean cruise for their 'holiday of a lifetime'. I can't wait to get stuck in on reading especially through my later stages of pregnancy when I am getting lazy to move around!

Sadly it was a rainy day...typical British weather so it was a literally a few quick snaps then straight back inside.
The SeaWalk was one of my favourite feature on top deck! This is a 60 feet long and hovering 128 feet above the ocean, the Princess SeaWalk® offers an exciting experience for both kids and adults. Featuring a dramatic glass-bottomed walkway, the SeaWalk provides passengers with unparalleled views of the sea below. Just a tad scary but what a great idea when you are actually out at sea. The SeaWalk is only available onboard the Royal Princess and Regal Princess cruise ships.
Guest Services: The Sanctuary, Movies Under the Stars poolside screen, Lotus Spa and Fitness Center, Piazza Atrium, Wedding Chapel, Casino, Sports Central, Lawn Court - golf putting and lawn games, Jogging/Walking track, Kid's and Teen's Centers, Internet Cafe©, Photo/Video Gallery, Library Art Gallery, Duty-free Boutiques, Concierge Lounge (dedicated lounge for suite guests), Passenger Services Desk, Shore Excursions Desk, Medical Center

The 3 course lunch onboard was fantastic you can read about it here.
Have any of you been on cruise holidays...what do you think of them? One thing I would say is that the shit is huge and you actually forget you are even on a ship even at full capacity because it's so big.
We had a amazing day "thank you" Princess Cruises for having us and we cannot wait to go back on board again to see the other ships!
