There are SO many different products on the market these days for mums and for first time mums like myself it can be a little daunting to know what to buy. Do you just go for what ever is on sale, the cheapest, copy your friend or do you just pick the brand you like the packaging of the most?! Decisions decisions.... For me I have been reading up on baby forums along with blog posts from mummy bloggers to see what they are recommending and what they can't live without. One of the brands that everyone seems to rave on about is Lansinoh in particular their *HPA Lanolin nipple cream and *nursing pads. From what I have read the nipple cream is suppose to be a lifesaver and you will end up plastering loads of this stuff on your nipples and the best thing about it is there is no need to wipe it off before feeding. Not only does it sooth it's suppose to keep your nips soft and comfortable. There are loads of different products on the market but from my research this one had the best review....we shall see when I put it to the test! I think once I start using these products I will share a post on products I cannot live without.
Nipple pad / nursing pads what ever you call them will be another essential and again there are plenty of options available on the market and you may think they are all more or less the same. Well so did I until I watched the video below. I already follow Lansinoh's twitter account they usually tweet any deals that are going and boots were doing an offer however I spotted Amazon are offering 240 pads for £15.96 which is even better value so this is added to my wishlist until I am ready to check out, amazon prices do go up and down frequently so when I am ready to check out this may not be the cheapest so we shall see. Their facebook page is also full of tips and advice so don't forget to give them a like!
Lastly we have the *Thera Pearl Hot OR Cold Breast Therapy which I am super excited about, as in I have high hopes having watched the video below..I am hoping when I am in pain it will soothe and give me relief used warm or cold depending on my preference but since I am having a winter baby I am assuming warm but if it's that sore maybe cold...who knows! Instead of me rambling on the video explains how it works.
