MY HOME: Nursery Inspo | Are you Covered?

In the last 2 weeks I have started to think about how I am going to decorate my nursery and getting a mini mood board together along with an online shopping list. I love home decor, I am sure you know that from my Mini Home Update to My Soft Touches recent blog post. The nursery will be very minimal like the rest of my home with similar colour scheme / style as these pictures all taken from pinterest. It's very soft and relaxing which is what I love about it. We are on a budget so it will be a case of going online finding the best prices of everything and what are essentials / desirable. I think it's important to not get carried away with the spending so the minimal look is perfect.
Now lets move onto the adult talk....it's all well doing all these changes which is costing me quite a lot of money over the months however have you thought about the important things such as home insurance? It doesn't matter if you live in a tiny 1 bed apartment or a huge 5 bed house it's important to have the right protection in place in case something should go wrong. What if your home was damaged in a storm or part of if set on fire, would you able to afford the repairs and most importantly where would you live if your home was uninhabitable? If you were burgled can you afford to replace everything that's gone missing? For me this is a definite no, I don't even have to think about it. There are various covers available to suit everyone so it's definitely worth spending the time to look into it. If you have policies in place already when it comes to renewal its definitely worth checking if you have the right / correct level of cover as some things which may have not been important to include back then is actually important to you now.

I think over the next few weeks I will be purchasing bit by bit and updating you all with progress when there is something to share and I cannot wait!
