It's Christmas Eve all my shopping is finished and wrapped up ready to hand out. I have a bag for each family and the bags are just everywhere in my hallway so I just want to get them handed out quickly. I don't have many people to buy for just mainly kids. This year we are heading to my aunts for the day so they will be cooking Christmas lunch and I will head over early to help out. It's our little one's first Christmas and we have brought her a few presents (You can see what we brought here) She's almost 1 and at that age they really don't need much but it's so easy to go overboard and do the full whack. I didn't put together a Christmas Eve Box either and they have suddenly become so popular - link to my post back in 2014 here! We will do one when she's a little older and she can fully enjoy it but at her age I think the parent's enjoy putting one together more than anything.
We will be spending Christmas Day scoffing our faces and watching plenty of TV and hubby's popped to co op to pick up a TV time as I type as we always miss the good stuff. My Voucher Codes looked into the nations favourite programmes and I haven't watched half the stuff on there! So they asked 4,105 people over 18 and living in the UK the following: "How much time do you spend watching TV on Christmas Day and what their favourite festive themed films and Christmassy TV programmes were...
I have to say I haven't watched ANY of the TV shows mentioned...I may have seen a bit of the "Call The Midwife" but I remember it being on earlier on in the year when the little one was born and I just was just constantly sleeping. Favourite films yes Home Alone from when I was a child and of course Gremlins but I never knew that was an Christmas movie.
Queens speech I tend to hear the hi lights on the news and as for the TV time...I am with the majority 2-4 hours depending what is on and rest of the time just relaxing. You can read the rest of the infographic here.
Time to shut the PC down until the new year and take a quick digital detox.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
