Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 Review

We were recently very lucky to have been sent a big selection of Hatchimals CollEggitbles Season 3 for review. We already have some of the season 2 and my girl is obsessed with these little eggs having seen them advertised on TV a lot! I totally get it, the whole not knowing what's inside and you just want to open them all.

So What's Different About Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3?
The different with this new season is each Hatchimal has a twin, best friend or squad - how cute is that! There are 100 to collect and if you are lucky you may hatch a pair of best friends where you can make special poses like piggybacks. My girl is always always wanting twins!

What Products Are Available To Buy In The Season 3 Collection?
This is the best bit, it's not expensive and the prices start as little as £2.99 pocket money amount up to a dozen egg carton which retails at £24.99 and this is the one my girl was most excited to open up.
  • Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 – 1 Pack which retails at £2.99
  • Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 2-Pack Cloud Egg Carton which retails at £4.99
  • Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 – 2 Pack which retails at £4.99
  • Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 – 4 Pack which retails at £9.99
  • Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 One Dozen Egg Carton which is amazing (!) and retails at £24.99.
These are available to purchase from your usual Smyths, Argos and supermarkets....they are everywhere!

How Do The Hatchimals work?
It's really simple and easy, pick your egg and rub the 2 hearts at the front of the shell and one of the hearts will turn pinky purple with the warmth of your hand then push to crack open the egg. I think this is the fun part for most of the kids, actually cracking open the egg to see what's inside then moving onto the next one and hatch as many as quickly as possible. Once you have hatched everything then you start looking at the leaflet matching it up seeing which ones you can tick off.
Overall I think these are great fun and very affordable especially with the price range starting at £2.99 kids can afford to buy with their own pocket money. We can buy the carton ones for birthdays / Christmas. Each season seems to differ slightly with something new which make it more exciting for the little ones. For us the eggs are also great as rewards or on days when she doesn't want to go to nursery, with an egg in her hand she will happily co-operate so in other words its great for bribery!! As you can see she likes to bury her eggs in sand as she opens them making it more fun and for the fun to last longer! Overall we LOVE Hatchimals!
